International textile-garment expo opens in HCM City | Business

HCM Metropolis (VNA) – The 2022 Vietnam Saigon Textile
& Garment Business – Cloth & Garment Equipment Expo (SaigonTex and SaigonFabric
2022) opened in Ho Chi Minh Metropolis on July 27 morning, offering a platform for
native and overseas producers to discover one another’s demand and search
partnership.

The exhibition options 278 exhibitors from 16 international locations and
territories, together with China, Germany, Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia,
Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan
(China), Thailand, Turkey, the UK, america and Vietnam.

There are nationwide pavilions internet hosting textile-garment
associations and main manufacturers, together with these of the RoK, Taiwan, the US and
Vietnam. The Vietnamese pavilion showcases merchandise from the Vietnam Textile
and Attire Affiliation (VITAS), Vinatex and the HCM Metropolis Affiliation of Garment,
Textile, Embroidery and Knitting (AGTEK).

Addressing the occasion, VCCI Vice President Vo Tan Thanh stated
SaigonTex and SaigonFabric 2022 gives alternative for Vietnamese and
overseas producers to introduce merchandise, supplies and superior equipment in
textile and garment; and to satisfy and search partnership.

A sequence of symposiums will happen to replace corporations on
new insurance policies and options and focus on methods for them to reinforce capability and
competitiveness, based on Thanh.

Co-organised by the State-owned Vietnam Nationwide
Textile-Garment Group (Vinatex) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Business
in HCM Metropolis (VCCI HCM), the occasion on the Saigon Exhibition and Conference
Centre will run till July 30./.
